Cross-wing aero handlebars
Feedback on the cross-wing handlebars... I was really concerned.
I've covered around 430km in the last few days. Tried out different routes and situations. Conclusion: I am so happy to ride the handlebars. Don't give it away under any circumstances. This is now MY NEW HANDLEBAR.
Everything fits - handling, driving style, operation and in all positions. No tension in the upper body. I also really like the slightly smaller distance between the upper and lower links.
Well, the aero position is awesome. You have one more fan on this planet. So I'm 100% convinced.

I've ridden it 3x now, around 160km and I'm thrilled!
Very relaxed aero position and lower link position.
On my “standard test route” 3:16 minutes faster over 40km than with a round handlebar profile, as far as the comparison can be made due to wind etc.
Getting used to it is practically zero... it's definitely a top handlebar for me!

I'm very happy with my Cross -Wing 42cm handlebars on the bike I just built.
I checked with my bike fitter before ordering and he's a fan of those kinds of bars, so I took the plunge.
The 42cm are compatible with my aerobars too (which was important to me), but even when riding on the hoods they feel really great! My other bike has a 40cm normal bar without flare.
Would recommend this to anyone who wants to give it a try on a road bike.
